At SNSC-UV I am Nancy T., the administrative assistant. For three years I have had the wonderful job of supporting the great team that makes up SNSC-UV. I help keep things organized and running smoothly.

The Upper Valley has been my home for twenty-five years. I live here with my husband and three great kids, one of whom belongs to the Happenings group and loves to go to all the dances.

Since January 2001 it has been my privilege to work at SNSC. I started as the Coordinator of the Parent to Parent of New Hampshire program. In December 2006 I also became the Executive Director position. My work also includes activities and programming for families, especially in Region 2, educational advocacy for parents, and overall management and administration of SNSC. My professional background includes 41 years in social services, mental health work, and college counseling and teaching.

Personal Information: I have 3 children, 3 step-children, 7 grandchildren (all of whom are really outstanding;-), and 1 great grandchild. My other life activities include teaching adjunct classes for Franklin Pierce University as well as for Colby-Sawyer College, working in my wife's store in Woodstock on weekends, playing the flute, working up a cord of wood each year to heat our house on 10 acres in Sharon VT, hiking, and X-C skiing.

Respite Care Coordinator/Connections Coordinator/Educational Advocate: Pamela Blair

I joined SNSC in March 2006 as a part time Respite Coordinator. In October, I added another day a week as the Connections Coordinator and as an Educational Advocate. In July 2007 I became fulltime and now also coordinate the Happenings program, Sibshop groups, and "other duties as assigned," meaning lots of general tasks and responsibilities.

Personal Information: I have lived in the Upper Valley since the early 1980's. I have two adult children, and a background in writing and education. My previous position was with The Family Place in Norwich VT where I served for almost 9 years as a home-visiting family support worker, a service coordinator for the Family, Infant and Toddler Project, and a benefits manager for the State of Vermont's child care subsidy program.

I really enjoy helping families recognize their own strengths and build on them, and respite care can play an important role in that process. My primary non-work activities are working in my garden, cooking, walking, reading, X-C skiing, enjoying time with my kids, and helping my partner make maple syrup.
